Our Day Care and Pre-School are situated in the original Simpson Farmhouse that has been perfectly adapted to create an environment that offers your child a homely and engaging space to enjoy, play, learn and develop, both within our inside and outside environments.
We are OFSTED registered to care for and educate children from 3 months of age up to 5 years. Our most recent OFSTED Inspection took place on 9th June 2015 and we are delighted to report that we achieved solid ‘Good’.
We provide a happy and caring atmosphere where children are given the attention and encouragement that they need to allow them to develop their true potential.
At our Nursery & Pre-School - children are safe, cared for and guided in an efficient, well managed and maintained manner.
We are a small nursery and pre-school with a BIG welcome, where every child matters.
"We have been continually delighted at the personal and extremely high standards of care shown by Little Bears and the significant contribution they have made to some of the most formative years of our children’s development. The care provided by Little Bears gave our children a firm foundation for going on and doing well at school and has always been delivered with such a level of personal care that we will always consider the staff at Little Bears as being part of Ruby and Oliver’s extended family.
Thank you Little Bears!"
"Little Bears is a lovely, homely place for our 3 year old. He loves his time there and I know he's having fun but learning too.
The staff are all great and are happy to answer the many questions I have. Our 5 year old also came here for 4 years and he still loves popping in now and again to say hello to everyone.
Thank you Little Bears."
"We spent sometime researching nurseries in our area before finding "Little Bears". We knew immediately that is was the right place for our son.
The other nurseries we had seen were in functional but slightly cold, commercial buildings, or rather too structured "school" environments. We chose Little Bears because of the warm, homely environment in which the children were clearly having fun and yet learning and developing at the same time. "
